Travel Scholarships for students & faculty based in African colleges and universities

The Omohundro Institute is pleased to report that, thanks to the generosity of the College of William and Mary, the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation, the Gilder Foundation, the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation, the Rouse-Bottom Foundation, Mr. Sidney Lapidus, Mr. Paul Sperry, Mr. Hays Watkins, and several anonymous donors, it now has the resources in hand to fund a maximum of 100 scholarships for faculty and graduate students who are based in sub-Saharan African colleges and universities. Details about the application procedure are available online at http://oieahc.wm.edu/conferences/ghana/travel.cfm . Funding will cover travel and lodging for persons whose applications are accepted. The application deadline is March 9, 2007.
