Later in the evening of the first

The next day, Wednesday, September 10, was entirely
devoted to discussions on areas of cooperation and collaboration
between the various institutions present at Warc. The
session was chaired by Professor Boubacar Barry, Department
of History, University Cheikh Anta Diop. Professor Barry
is one of the finest intellects doing research on the
political, economic and academic integration of West
Africa and his presence and contribution to the discussions
were much appreciated by the various institution representatives.
The Wednesday session was extremely important in the
sense that it helped identify the various areas of cooperation
and also spell out a policy to be used as guideline
by the research institutions which should develop and
consolidate institutional relations between and among
them and spare no effort to preserve such institutional
ties.
